Job summary

The Y Australia is seeking a casual OSHC Educator to support primary school children across our OSHC services in Campbelltown, Ingleburn, Ambarvale and Macquarie Fields. You will provide fun, engaging activities and help design a calendar of inclusive program activities.

You will report to Coordinators and join a network of educators across NSW, with opportunities for career development and a pathway to permanent roles.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising and interacting with children.
• Ability to follow safeguarding priorities.
• Availability to supervise Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care hours.
• Current First Aid HLTAID012 and CPR certification; Working with Children Check; Police Check.

We're seeking a passionate casual educator to support children at our OSHC services in Campbelltown, Ingleburn, Ambarvale & Macquarie Fields. You must be available for a minimum of 3 weekdays per week and willing to travel to other locations in the area if required. For the right candidate, there's even an opportunity to transition into a permanent role!

• You will provide fun and engaging activities for primary school-age children
• You will help design a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging program activities
• Reporting to the Coordinators of our OSHC centres, you will be one of over 200 educators who support children across NSW
• You will be able to follow our development pathways to learn new skills and build your career

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience supervising and interacting with children
• Ability to follow safeguarding priorities
• Availability to supervise Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care hours
• Current First Aid HLTAID012 - Provide an emergency response in an education and care setting and CPR
• Valid Working with Children Check
• Police Check (paid for by the Y)
