Job summary

The Y NSW is seeking a casual OSHC Educator to support primary school students across Campbelltown, Ingleburn, Ambarvale and Macquarie Fields. You will run engaging activities and help plan a calendar of inclusive programs.

You will work with coordinators and a large team of educators, with opportunities for professional growth, flexible hours, and potential permanent progression.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising and interacting with children.
• Current First Aid HLTAID012 and CPR.
• Valid Working with Children Check.
• Police Check (paid by the Y).
• Availability to supervise Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide fun and engaging activities for primary school‑age children.
• Help design a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging program activities.
• Reporting to the Coordinators of our OSHC centres, you will be one of over 200 educators who support children across NSW.
• Follow development pathways to learn new skills and build your career.

We're seeking a passionate casual educator to support children at our OSHC services in Campbelltown, Ingleburn, Ambarvale & Macquarie Fields. You must be available for a minimum of 3 weekdays per week and willing to travel to other locations in the area if required. For the right candidate, there's even an opportunity to transition into a permanent role!

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience supervising and interacting with children
• Ability to follow safeguarding priorities
• Availability to supervise Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care hours
• Current First Aid HLTAID012 - Provide an emergency response in an education and care setting and CPR
• Valid Working with Children Check
• Police Check (paid for by the Y)
