Job summary

Small World Journeys is seeking an organised Groups Coordinator in Cairns North, QLD. The role involves planning and coordinating school tours from accommodation to transport, activities and guides, while communicating with teachers and managing bookings.

You'll work in a small, passionate team focusing on reef and rainforest education, sustainability and meaningful travel experiences. Flexible start times and performance bonuses are offered.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas), Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple school tours, including accommodation, transport, activities and guides.
• Act as main point of contact for teachers with timely information.
• Manage bookings, schedules, and documentation for each group.
• Maintain records, update CRM, and monitor tour budgets.
• Problem-solve and follow up on changes; improve programs and processes.
