Job summary

Coolum Beach Christian College invites applications for an Educational Support Officer (Teacher Aide) to support our Learning Enrichment Team across our College (Primary and Secondary) to commence Term 4 2026 with ongoing role for 2027.

Applicants must hold a Certificate in Education Support, have a current Blue Card or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement, and bring experience communicating with students.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Education Support is required.
• Current Blue Card or willingness to obtain one before start date.
• Experience communicating effectively with students.
• Experience working with intervention programs such as Maqlit (Preferred).
• Empathy with, and understanding of, students with diverse needs (Highly desirable).
• Be comfortable in actively demonstrating their Christian faith.

Coolum Beach Christian College (CBCC) is seeking applications from passionate, faith-filled and experienced Educational Support Officer (Teacher Aide) to support our Learning Enrichment Team across our College (Primary and Secondary) to commence Term 4 2026 with ongoing role for 2027.

Applicants must:

• Have a Certificate in Education Support.

• Have a current Blue Card or be willing to obtain a Blue Card Prior to commencement.

• Have experience communicating effectively with students.

• Have experience working with a variety of intervention programs such as Maqlit (Preferred)

• Demonstrate empathy with, and understanding of, students with diverse needs (Highly desirable)

• Be comfortable in actively demonstrating their Christian faith

Hours are 35 per week, to be worked from Monday to Friday.
