Job summary

Glasshouse Country Christian College is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant – Individual Student Support to join our Primary Learning Enhancement team at Beerwah on the Sunshine Coast. The role focuses on providing one-to-one or small-group support to Prep students, helping them access learning and participate in daily activities.

You will work alongside teachers, follow individual plans, and may assist with communication, emotional regulation, mobility or personal care as needed.

About the Role

Glasshouse Christian College is seeking a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant – Individual Student Support to join our Primary Learning Enhancement team.

In 2027, this role will provide dedicated support to students in Prep, generally on a one-to-one or one-to-two basis, helping students who require significant adjustments to access learning and participate successfully in school life.

Working alongside classroom teachers and our Primary Learning Enhancement team, you will support students throughout the school day, helping them develop confidence, independence and positive engagement in learning.

Depending on individual student needs, the role may also include supporting communication, emotional regulation, mobility and personal care.

• Be willing to assist with physical or personal care needs where required.
• Be committed to ongoing training and professional learning.
• Hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) issued by the Queensland Government.
