Job summary

YMCA Victoria is seeking an Educational Leader to support the Lightning Reef Early Learning Centre, guiding Educators, children and families. The role focuses on program planning, curriculum development and building a positive learning culture.

You will lead the development of curriculum, set clear goals for teaching and learning, and plan both short and long-term improvements for the Centre’s operations. Ongoing professional development is provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care or equivalent per ACECQA.
• Minimum 5 years experience in the ECEC sector.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification.
• Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting & Other Obligations Early Childhood.
• National child safety training - Foundation training.

• Work with Team Leaders and Educators on program planning.
• Promote a positive organisational culture and professional learning community.
• Lead curriculum development and set clear teaching goals.
• Plan short and long-term goals to strengthen Centre operations.
