Job summary

Busy Bees at Woolloongabba East in Brisbane is seeking a dedicated Lead Educator to drive the daily learning program and mentor team members in a high-quality early learning centre.

You will lead planning aligned with EYLF, support families and ensure NQF compliance, with a clear pathway for career progression within Busy Bees.

This full-time role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, current First Aid/CPR, and a QLD Working with Children Check.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience leading a room in an early learning environment.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of a high-quality educational program aligned with the EYLF.
• Inspire and mentor Educators within your room.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with families and the local community.
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and centre policies.
• Support children’s development, wellbeing and learning outcomes through play-based experiences.
