Job summary

Young Minds Academy – Hamlyn Terrace is seeking a full-time, Diploma-qualified Educational Leader to join our team. We are committed to child safety and high-quality early learning.

Required: Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, 2+ years’ experience, EYLF/NQF knowledge, First Aid and WWCC, and Gecko/Child Protection training. Permanent residency in Australia preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care is required.
• At least 2 years' experience in an early learning setting.
• Knowledge of EYLF and NQF.
• A team player with a positive attitude.
• Current First Aid and Working With Children Check.
• HLTAID012 Child Care First Aid certification is required.
• Child Protection and Gecko training is mandatory.
• Permanent residency in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver engaging, play-based learning programs.
• Work closely with the Educational Leader to plan, reflect and improve programs.
• Document children's learning and development.
• Ensure child safety in all practice.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Contribute to the service's Quality Improvement Plan.
• Support and mentor other team members.
