Job summary

Young Minds Academy – Hamlyn Terrace is seeking a Cert III Early Childhood Educator to join our friendly team on a part-time/full-time basis. You will deliver play-based learning programs and work with the Educational Leader to plan and reflect on improvements while documenting children's development.

We value child safety, teamwork and ongoing professional development. Current First Aid and Working With Children Check are essential, with HLTAID012 required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in an early learning setting.
• Knowledge of the EYLF and NQF.
• A team player with a positive attitude.
• Current First Aid and Working With Children Check.
• HLTAID012 Child Care First Aid certification is required.
• Permanent residency in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver engaging, play-based learning programs.
• Work closely with the Educational Leader to plan, reflect and improve programs.
• Document children's learning and development.
• Ensure child safety in all practice.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Contribute to the service's Quality Improvement Plan.
• Support and mentor other team members.
