Job summary

Nido Early School Mandurah is seeking an Educational Leader to guide educators, elevate practices, and embed the Reggio Emilia philosophy across learning environments. You will drive curriculum leadership and support teachers to deliver inquiry-based programs that honour every child’s voice.

The role emphasizes collaboration, professional development, and community partnerships, with open/close shifts and a commitment to child safety and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred) or Diploma (ACECQA recognised).
• At least 2 years’ experience in a Lead Educator or educational leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and inquiry-based learning.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and reflective practice skills.
• Knowledge of Reggio Emilia philosophy and pedagogical documentation.
• WWCC and First Aid.
• National Child Safety Training via Geccko (Foundation & Advanced) or willing to obtain before employment.

Responsibilities

• Champion EYLF and Reggio Emilia-inspired practice.
• Coach educators in planning cycles and documentation.
• Ensure inspiring environments that reflect culture and community.
• Facilitate professional development and critical reflection.
• Partner with families and community to extend learning.
• Support quality improvement and assessment & rating readiness.
