Job summary

Nido Cumberland Park is seeking a Curriculum Leader to guide educators, elevate practice, and embed our Reggio Emilia philosophy across all learning environments.

The role focuses on championing EYLF and Reggio-inspired practice, coaching teams, and partnering with families to extend learning, while supporting quality improvement and reflective practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred or ACECQA-recognised Diploma.
• Minimum 2 years in a Lead Educator or curriculum leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and inquiry-based learning.
• Excellent coaching, mentoring and reflective practice skills.
• Knowledge of Reggio Emilia philosophy and pedagogical documentation.
• WWCC and First Aid.

The Role
As Curriculum Leader, you’ll be the pedagogical guide of the service — supporting educators to deliver programs that honour every child’s voice and potential.

What you’ll bring
We’re seeking a leader who thrives on collaboration, reflection, and continuous improvement. You’ll bring expertise in curriculum and a passion for helping educators grow.

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (preferred) or Diploma (ACECQA recognised).
• At least 2 years’ experience in a Lead Educator or curriculum leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and inquiry-based learning.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and reflective practice skills.
• Knowledge of Reggio Emilia philosophy and pedagogical documentation.
• WWCC and First Aid.
• Please note: Any candidate employed from 1 April must provide a certificate confirming completion of the Federally mandated ‘National Child Safety Training’ via Geccko, or must be willing to obtain prior to employment
