Buttercups Childcare is seeking an Educational Leader to collaborate with the Centre Manager on daily operations and to drive a high-quality program aligned with our values. You will mentor educators and ensure best practices, while fostering a warm, welcoming environment for children and families.

The role requires Room Leader experience and a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, and Education and Care Regulations, plus current First Aid, WWCC,

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Education or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or ACECQA approved equivalent.
• Room Leader experience is essential; Educational Leadership experience is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, and Education and Care Regulations.
• Current First Aid certificate, WWCC, and Police Clearance (or ability to obtain at onboarding).
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and ability to establish positive relationships with staff, children and families.

• Taking responsibility as Educational Leader for program development, implementation and reflection.
• Inspiring, mentoring and guiding educators to ensure best practices and ongoing professional development.
• Fostering a positive workplace culture that prioritises exceptional care and educational outcomes.
• Overseeing the presentation of each room and outdoor environment to create a welcoming space.
• Working within a Community of Practice with other Buttercups educational leaders to drive curriculum.
