The Rockhampton Grammar School Early Learning Centre invites an Educational Leader/2IC to oversee and drive reflective practice, lead curriculum implementation, and mentor educators at our North Rockhampton centre. Qualifications

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent.
• Current First Aid Certificate (ACEQCA/AACEQA approved)
• Current CPR Certificate (ACECQA)
• Current Anaphylaxis Training (ACEQCA)
• Current Emergency Asthma Management Training (ACEQCA)
• Current Working with Children Check as required under legislation
• National Police Check where administering CCS as a person in day‑to‑day charge
• Commitment to maintaining current knowledge and attending additional training as necessary

Responsibilities

• Oversee, lead and develop quality reflective practices to deliver the Early Years learning framework to a high standard.
• Lead reflective practice discussions focusing on interactions, routines, and intentional teaching.
• Mentor educators by guiding quality practice and professional learning.
• Discuss routines and improve learning experiences through observation and feedback.
• Communicate the educational program to families and collaborate with external professionals.
• Ensure continuity of learning across rooms and transitions to school.
• Document children’s learning to inform curriculum decisions and assessments.
• Perform other duties as directed by management and Approved Provider.
