Job summary

Perfect Beginnings Eight Mile Plains seeks an Educational Leader / 2IC to mentor educators, shape curriculum, and drive reflective practice across the centre, aligning with EYLF and NQS standards.

In this full-time role, you will support the Centre Director with daily operations, family communications, staff scheduling, and regulatory compliance, stepping in during the Centre Director's absence to provide strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved).
• Proven experience as Educational Leader or 2IC in an early learning setting.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and Queensland childcare regulations.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Active Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications.

In this dual role, you will champion educational excellence across our centre while supporting the Centre Director in daily management, staff supervision, and operational leadership.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved).
• Proven experience in an Educational Leader or 2IC capacity within an early learning setting.
• In-depth understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and Queensland childcare regulations.
