Job summary

Guardian Childcare & Education Balmain Cove is seeking an Educational Leader to join a supportive leadership team in Rozelle. You will shape and drive learning programs, empower educators, and contribute to a culture of excellence across the centre.

Thrive leadership framework supports you, with coaching, mentoring, and pathways to leadership across our network. You’ll lead programming, support child development, and champion quality through the centre’s Quality Improvement Plan.

Qualifications

• Completion of the national mandatory Child Protection training via the GECCKO platform.
• Tertiary Qualifications (University Degree or equivalent) in Early Childhood Education as approved by ACECQA.
• Current Teacher’s Accreditation/ Registration (NSW, SA, VIC & WA).
• Proven knowledge of the National Quality Framework.
• Previous experience in the early years sector is desirable.
• Valid Working with Children Check or state-specific equivalent.

The Centre:

Balmain Cove, located in the heart of Rozelle and Balmain is designed to replicate the comfort of a family-style environment. Situated close to public transport, our beautiful 72 place centre includes bright, nature-filled spaces, and a range of exciting, resource-rich environments. The centre also includes age-specific ateliers and a team of warm and passionate educators. The children get out and about on weekly excursions and enjoy great connections with the surrounding community.

Here’s what you’ll bring:
