Job summary

Surf Life Saving NSW is seeking an energetic Training & Education Coordinator to support clubs across NSW. Based at SLSNSW Headquarters and reporting to the Club Services Manager, you will coordinate education initiatives, deliver training, and build strong stakeholder relationships to enhance club development.

You will research needs, analyse data, and monitor initiatives while staying current with VET sector changes. Flexible/remote options and a 12-month contract are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating or facilitating education projects within set timeframes.
• Knowledge of the Australian Vocational Education and Training quality sector.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• Strong problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clubs, staff and volunteers to identify training needs and support requirements.
• Coordinate education projects, courses and initiatives within agreed timeframes.
• Deliver online and in-person training and support when required.
• Develop communications, guidance materials and professional reports for stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate initiatives and report progress to stakeholders.
• Keep up to date with changes in the VET sector affecting training and assessment.
• Build relationships with clubs, branches, volunteers, trainers, assessors and RTO/VET stakeholders.
• Represent Surf Life Saving NSW at meetings and maintain professional conduct.
