Job summary

Trinity College Colac seeks expressions of interest to join our team in 2027 as a Sport – Traineeship (Education Support). Reporting to the Sport Coordinator, the trainee will support student wellbeing through active sport and recreation programs.

Responsibilities include supervising groups on excursions and camps, helping organise sports days, maintaining equipment with Meet Manager, and coaching teams.

Reporting to the Sport Coordinator, the successful applicant will:

• Provide supervision to groups of students on excursions and camps
• Assist in organising sports days and competitions including draws, umpiring and equipment
• Maintain equipment utilising Meet Manager program and other relevant software
• Coach and supervise sporting teams and activities

Successful applicant will possess the following qualities:

• Ability to work positively with staff and students
• Willingness to undertake professional learning opportunities
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to display initiative and work with limited supervision at times
• Willingness to assist classes and on excursions/camps retreats as required
