Qualifications

• SC1 Demonstrated highly efficient time management and organisational skills and the capacity to develop procedures and guidelines in relation to the work area.
• SC2 Demonstrated high level of communication and interpersonal skills when relating to the school community and all stakeholders.
• SC3 Demonstrated experience in the use of management systems and computer use relevant to the position.
• SC4 Capacity to work co-operatively with a range of people including teachers, education support, students, parents, other school personnel, tradesman and external agencies.
• SC5 Demonstrated commitment to professional learning and growth for both self and others.

Responsibilities

• Administrative and Operational Support: Undertake general office duties, filing, photocopying, and data entry.
• Logistics and Planning: Assist with organising and supervising student transportation, including bus usage.
• Inter-Organisational Liaison: Support the Language Centre Co-ordinator.
• Technology and Training: Operate and train others in routine use of office equipment and computer systems.
• Student Welfare and Support: Welcome and orientate new students and families; assist with enrolments and data entry; understand students' backgrounds and needs.
• Student Well-being: Provide guidance and support to students with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.
• Family Engagement: Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and parents; assist with transitions and involvement in school activities.
• Classroom Support and Instruction: Assist teachers in the classroom; provide targeted support for students with varying English language proficiency; help prepare EAL teaching materials.
