Job summary

Arethusa College is seeking a Scheduling Officer for the Anywhere Learning Team in Queensland. The role coordinates flexible learning programs, staff schedules, and stakeholder communications to support student wellbeing and engagement.

You will work with families, educators, and leaders to ensure efficient service delivery across multiple locations, requiring exceptional organisation, attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, rostering, administration, or coordination roles.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle changing schedules and urgent staffing needs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
• Relevant Blue Card and driver's licence requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and maintain staff schedules across the Anywhere Learning program.
• Allocate teaching and support staff to students and learning locations based on program requirements.
• Coordinate schedule adjustments due to student needs and staff availability.
• Liaise with families to support student engagement and attendance.
• Monitor staffing capacity and resource utilisation for effective service delivery.
• Maintain scheduling records, databases, and reporting documentation.
• Assist with planning and continuous improvement to enhance scheduling efficiency.
• Support cross-team communication for seamless regional learning services.
