Job summary

Gippsland Grammar in Victoria is seeking an experienced ICT Manager to lead the IT department across the Bairnsdale and Gippsland Sale campuses. You will chair the ICT Steering Committee and oversee end-to-end IT strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity and support operations.

Reporting to the Business Manager and Principal, you will drive digital transformation, governance, risk management and compliance while partnering with school leadership to advance learning through technology.

Qualifications

• Significant track record delivering successful IT systems design, development, and operational management in a medium-to-large organisation.
• Deep knowledge of IT regulations, governance, risk frameworks, and system integration capabilities.
• Leadership, mentoring, and development of technical teams.
• Superior problem solving and clear stakeholder engagement.
• Tertiary degree or post-graduate qualification in relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Chair the ICT Steering Committee and lead operational IT strategy, budget and capital investments.
• Oversee IT systems design, vendor relationships, and infrastructure upgrades from analysis to daily operations.
• Direct, coach and support the IT team to deliver service level excellence.
• Drive cybersecurity awareness, risk management, disaster recovery and compliance with IT laws and regulations.
• Partner with leadership to integrate modern technology and e-Learning solutions.
