Rainbow Child Care Centre in Narraweena NSW is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher or Diploma qualified Educator for a permanent full-time or part-time role commencing January 2027. You will deliver high-quality education and care within a warm, supportive team.

You will hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or Diploma, with strong relationship-building skills, and be prepared to act as Responsible Person.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required.
• Active Working with Children Check is required.
• First Aid certification is required.
• Anaphylaxis and Asthma training is required.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with centre policies and procedures.
• Provide ongoing support to the team and centre owner.
• Work towards meeting National Quality Standard requirements.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Early Childhood Teacher or Diploma qualified Educator to join our team on a permanent full-time or part-time basis. Working within our early childhood team, you’ll be responsible for providing high-quality education and care.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• complying with the centre’s policies and procedures
• providing ongoing support to the team and the centre owner
• supporting the centre to work towards exceeding the National Quality Standard
• understanding and meeting your obligations under the Children (Education and Care Services National Law Application) Act 2010, the National Quality Standard and the Education and Care Services National Regulations

About You

You’ll hold either a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) or a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. You’ll be enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking, with outstanding skills in building strong relationships with children and families.

You’ll also be:

• a positive, self-motivated professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• a strong team player with a creative and mature approach
• able to develop and maintain a curriculum that caters to children’s individual needs
• willing to act as Responsible Person
• genuinely passionate about working with children
• current Working with Children Check
