Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Haus of Chain is seeking an E-Commerce Specialist in Melbourne to keep the online store accurate across global markets. You will manage product data, pricing, inventory, promotions and launches, working with marketing, content, production and customer service teams.
Proficiency in Shopify, spreadsheets and CSV handling is essential, with a strong eye for copy and on-page SEO. You will drive data-driven improvements, support A/B testing, and ensure a smooth shopping experience across currencies
At Haus of Chain, we approach recruitment differently. Built inside a full-service digital agency, we place marketing and e-commerce talent based on what they can actually do, not how polished their CV looks.
We're partnering with a proudly independent Australian jewellery brand with a loyal global following. Their female-led Melbourne team creates handcrafted pieces from ethically sourced materials, designed to be worn, loved and passed down.
As E-Commerce Specialist, you’ll keep the online store running exactly as it should across every global market. Products, pricing, inventory, collections, promotions - if it lives on the site, you’ll make sure it’s right.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll sit at the centre of how the brand trades online. You’ll work closely with the marketing, content, production, customer service and retail teams to get new products ready for launch and set up sales and promotions accurately. A big part of the job is working with data at volume, so you’ll spend a lot of your time in Shopify, spreadsheets and CSV files.
It’s hands-on and varied, with real room to grow your skills across the full e-commerce mix.
Launches and product drops go live on schedule with every price, image and variant correct. Sales start and finish exactly when they should, with discounts landing on the right products in every market.
Your regular audits catch broken links, missing imagery and pricing errors before a customer ever does. The catalogue stays clean, consistent and easy to shop. Over time, your SEO work and testing insights start showing up in how the site performs.
You're the person who checks, then double and triple checks because you don't assume something is right, and catching an inconsistency before it becomes a problem gives you a quiet sense of satisfaction.
You'll have 3 or so years of experience working in an e-commerce role, ideally with a product-led retail or DTC brand. You're confident in Shopify (Shopify Plus is a bonus) and at home in spreadsheets and CSVs at scale. You have a sharp eye for copy and proofreading, a working knowledge of on-page SEO and a genuine interest in testing and data.
You also have experience across multiple markets and currencies, which will help you hit the ground running.
This is a warm, collaborative team that cares about craftsmanship, authenticity and doing things properly. You'll work closely with studio, retail, content and global teams in a creative Melbourne studio.
