Job summary

Girls with Gems is reshaping fashion ecommerce from a fast-scaling operations hub in Sydney. We’re seeking a hands-on digital delivery specialist to own projects from concept to live, across website and app, with a bias for AI-driven optimization on Shopify Plus.

You’ll lead multiple initiatives, run A/B tests, analyse results, and convert insights into improvements that drive conversion and revenue. You’ll mentor the Ecom Assistant and ship features that enhance customer experience.

Job description

This is the delivery engine of our ecommerce team. Taking projects from idea to live, driving measurable results, and running a constant loop of test, analyse, and improve. You don't just write briefs or pull reports - you build, ship, and close the loop. You're technical and strategic: comfortable in Shopify Plus, fluent in how the tools around it connect, and someone who uses AI every day to move faster and get more done. You'll be working across a fast-scaling, multi-brand fashion business with a growing app-first customer base and an expanding global footprint - so there's no shortage of real projects to sink your teeth into.

What you'll own

• Project execution & delivery Take initiatives from concept to live across website and app. Keep multiple projects moving in parallel and get them across the line - reliably, and at pace.
• Optimisation & experimentation Consistent A/B testing and strategic experimentation: form the hypothesis, run the test, read the results, and execute the winning change. A relentless conversion-optimisation mindset across the whole funnel.
• Analysis into action Dig into the data to find the opportunities, then build the fix. This role isn't reporting for its own sake -it's turning insight into real life improvements.
• App & web experience Day-to-day improvements and new feature builds across our Shopify Plus site and app, always with the customer experience and commercial outcome front of mind.
• Team Mentor and help lead our Ecom Assistant - delegate the right work down, oversee quality, and jump in to guide when needed.

Must-haves

• Shopify Plus experience with a strong, practical understanding of the platform.
• Proven project leadership — real examples of digital projects you've led and shipped, ideally website, app, or digital experience work.
• Demonstrable AI use - you can show us, concretely, how you use Claude/AI to work smarter and level up your day. This is non-negotiable for us.

Nice to have

• Hands-on with app platforms, experimentation tools, or CRO/analytics tooling.
• Experience with multi-market or international ecommerce.
