Job summary

Fella Hamilton & The Ark Clothing Co is seeking an organised, hands-on Ecommerce Coordinator in Melbourne to manage day-to-day Shopify store operations, content publishing, asset coordination, and automation initiatives. You will support the Head of Ecommerce & Digital and collaborate with marketing to ensure calendars and launches run smoothly.

The role covers product uploads, catalog maintenance, content publishing, and marketplace listings (Myer).

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in ecommerce, digital or CRM.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify or similar.
• Experience prompting frontier AI models (Claude or ChatGPT).
• Strong writing skills for on-site or blog content.
• Experience with marketplace platforms (Myer, Amazon or similar) is a plus.
• Great attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upload product listings on Shopify stores.
• Merchandise collections, pages, cross-sell placements and promos.
• Coordinate assets from the design team and optimise for each channel.
• Manage stock status and support new product launches per marketing calendar.
• Run site audits and maintain pages across channels.

Job description

We're looking for an organised, hands‑on Ecommerce Coordinator to join our team at Fella Hamilton & The Ark Clothing Co. Working closely with our Head of Ecommerce & Digital, you'll deliver the day‑to‑day execution that keeps our Shopify stores, automation program and web content running.

This is a hands‑on role. You'll upload and maintain our product range, publish content, and coordinate web assets across channels. You'll also pick up work for other members of the marketing team as priorities require.

Key Responsibilities

Shopify/ERP Platform Operations

• Upload and maintain product listings across our Shopify stores.
• Merchandise collection and category pages, including cross‑sell placements.
• Co‑ordinate creative assets from our graphic team and optimise for each channel.
• Turn promotions and sales events on and off, including discount codes, banners and landing pages.
• Keep stock status current and support new product launches inline with our marketing calendar.
• Run regular site audits and maintain relevant pages.

Marketplace Management (Myer)

• Upload and maintain Myer marketplace listings, keeping product, pricing and promotional information current.

Automation / AI Prompting / Vibe Coding

• Assist with automation processes using Python in Visual Studio Code, with the help of AI.
• Research and improve processes using the latest tools and techniques.

What we're looking for

• 1 to 3 years' experience in ecommerce, digital or CRM, ideally at a direct‑to‑consumer or omnichannel retail brand.
• Hands‑on experience with Shopify or a similar ecommerce platform.
• Experience prompting frontier AI models (Claude or ChatGPT)
• Strong writing skills, with experience creating on‑site or blog content.
• Experience with marketplace platforms (Myer, Amazon, or similar) highly regarded.
• Great attention to detail, strong organisation skills, and comfortable managing multiple small workstreams and stakeholders at once.
• 23–30 hours per week to start
