Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services Ltd – Coogee NSW is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to contribute to a high-quality curriculum for children aged 0–6. You will support families and staff while upholding the Catholic ethos of the service in a not-for-profit community setting.

The role is full-time and permanent, offering a supportive team and modern facilities. Applicants must hold an approved diploma, first aid, and safety certifications and be committed to child safety

Qualifications

• Must hold an approved Early Childhood Diploma.
• Current ACECQA-approved First Aid certification is required.
• Certifications to identify and respond to risk of harm are required.
• Valid Working with Children Check is mandatory.
• Completion of GECCKO child safety training is expected.
• Solid knowledge of the National Quality Framework and EYLF.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a high-quality curriculum across ages 0–6.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families and staff.
• Support the Catholic identity, philosophy, policies and procedures of the service.
• Assist with keeping fees and administrative tasks organized.
• Contribute to a safe, caring and inclusive learning environment.
