Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) is hiring a Full-Time Diploma Educator to join our not-for-profit centre in Sydney. You will contribute to high-quality education and care for children aged 0–6, implementing the curriculum, and forming positive relationships with families and staff.

This maximum term contract until Jan 2028 covers parental leave. You’ll work Monday to Friday, enjoy above-award remuneration, childcare fee discounts, rostered days off every four weeks, novated

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care approved qualification (or equivalent).
• Current First Aid Certificate approved by ACECQA with emergency management knowledge.
• Working with Children Check is valid and up to date.
• Completed GECCKO national child safety training.

Your New Role

As a qualified Early Childhood Educator, you'll play a pivotal role in the growth and development of children aged 0-6.

Contract

This is a full time Monday - Friday maximum term contract role until Jan 2028 covering parental leave.

Requirements

• Early Childhood Diploma Approved Qualification or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Current First Aid Certificate Approved by ACECQA: Includes applying first aid, emergency asthma management, and anaphylaxis.
• Identify & Respond to Children at Risk of Harm Certificate
• Valid Working with Children Check
• Completed the mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO. Register GECCKO
• Practical Knowledge: Understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.
