Job summary

Wanless Waste Management is seeking an experienced Branch Manager / Business Development Manager for the Eastern Sydney region. You will lead the branch, drive sales growth, ensure top-tier service delivery and foster a high-performing team.

The role blends operational oversight with proactive market development to expand our local footprint. The ideal candidate brings proven branch leadership, a track record of growing revenue, and strong customer relationship skills within the waste management

Qualifications

• Proven experience in branch management, business development, sales leadership or operations in the Waste Management industry.
• Strong commercial acumen with budgeting, forecasting and margin management.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day performance of the Eastern Sydney branch, including people, service and operational delivery
• Manage branch budgets, forecasts, costs and commercial performance
• Develop and execute a business development plan to grow revenue and market share
• Identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities across commercial and industrial markets
• Build trusted relationships with new and existing customers, maximising retention and account value
• Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms and support contract implementation
• Partner with operations to ensure safe, compliant and reliable service delivery
• Lead, coach and develop the branch team while championing safety and continuous improvement
