Job summary

Transport for NSW invites applicants to join the Civil Construction Apprenticeship in Singleton, NSW, commencing March 2027. This paid, fixed-term full-time program combines hands-on work with structured training toward a Certificate III in Civil Construction, with no prior experience required.

You will gain on-the-job experience, learn essential trade skills, and develop communication and teamwork abilities while pursuing a nationally recognised qualification.

Qualifications

• Must be Australian citizen or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident.
• Complete Year 10 or RoSA or equivalent.
• Ready to commence full-time employment in March 2027.
• Hold, or be obtaining, a C Class driver licence.
• Access to reliable transport to travel to the office or depot.
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, or near live traffic.
• Willing to travel as part of your role.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Demonstrate teamwork and maintain a positive, accountable approach.
• Take pride in delivering your best across school, work, and personal life.
• Proactively seek opportunities to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
• Manage time effectively and stay organised to meet commitments.

Responsibilities
