Job summary

Home Delivery Services – Wetherill Park NSW is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the Wetherill Park depot, responsible for the 3:00–4:00am start and overseeing van load-out, real-time run tracking, and driver coordination.

You will lead the load-out team, ensure accurate manifests, and maintain proactive communication with contractor drivers throughout the day, while supporting other depot areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an operations, logistics, or warehouse supervisory role.
• Experience managing or coordinating contractor and/or sub-contractor drivers.
• Hands-on leadership style on the floor.
• Proficiency with delivery management systems such as Arctec or similar.

Responsibilities

• Oversee van load-out from the early hours, ensuring all runs are correctly packed, manifested, and ready for on-time dispatch.
• Monitor delivery runs in real time, proactively identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
• Maintain regular communication with contractor and sub-contractor drivers throughout the shift.
• Use the Arctec system to manage, track, and report on delivery runs and operational performance.
• Supervise the load-out team across the shift, driving productivity, accuracy, and WHS compliance.
• Build team culture, provide clear direction, and support the development of individuals on your shift.
• Liaise with depot management to ensure smooth shift handovers and consistent operational reporting.
