Job summary

Holy Spirit Early Learning Centre, part of Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CACGEL), invites applications for an educator role in the year before formal schooling. You will contribute to a collaborative team delivering high-quality care and play-based learning in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Eligibility includes WWVP clearance and a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or related cert).

Qualifications

• ACT Working with Vulnerable People clearance (WWVP).
• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or Certificate III in Education Support (birth to 12), or Certificate III in Children’s Services.
• Accreditation in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education for children in the year before formal schooling.
• Foster respectful, supportive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Support children's curiosity, exploration and development in a play-based learning environment.

Education

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or Certificate III in Education Support (birth to 12), or Certificate III in Children’s Services.
