Job summary

Essential Early Learning in Mount Pritchard, NSW, invites an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) & Room Leader to lead one of our rooms and shape the educational program in alignment with EYLF V2.0 and the National Quality Standard. You will mentor educators, maintain learning documentation and portfolios, and build strong partnerships with families.

You bring a four-year ACECQA-approved Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood), NSW Working with Children clearance, NESA accreditation, and current first

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent.
• Current NESA teacher accreditation (Provisional/Conditional/Proficient).
• Current NSW Working with Children Check clearance.
• Current HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis certification.
• Knowledge of NQF, National Law & Regulations, and EYLF V2.0.
• Strong written documentation and ability to lead a room team.
• Experience as a Room Leader or Educational Leader (desirable).
• Experience preparing a service for Assessment and Rating (desirable).
• Familiarity with OWNA or similar childcare management software (desirable).
• 2 hours paid non-contact time per week for programming.
• Employer-funded first aid and CPR renewals.
• A small service where you have a genuine say in how the program runs.
• Free on-site parking.

You will plan, implement and evaluate an educational program aligned with the EYLF V2.0 and the National Quality Standard, maintain learning documentation, observations and children's portfolios, lead and mentor educators in the room, supporting their planning cycle practice, build genuine, respectful partnerships with families, contribute to our Quality Improvement Plan and self-assessment, and support implementation of the Child Safe Standards and all service policies and procedures.

About you
