Job summary

Busy Bees Long Day Child Care centre in New South Wales invites an qualified Early Childhood Teacher to plan and deliver an EYLF-aligned program, support children's learning, wellbeing and school readiness, and partner with families.

You will work with a collaborative team, uphold safety and inclusion, participate in reflective practice, and contribute to continuous improvement in a welcoming, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification recognised under the Australian framework (EYLF).
• NSW teacher registration/accreditation requirements where applicable.
• Hold NSW WWCC clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
• Satisfactory National Police Check/criminal history check.
• Mandatory child safety training/certification.
• Current Child Protection Certificate with annual refresher.
• Sound understanding of EYLF, NQS and NQF.

Job description

Key responsibilities

Develop, implement and evaluate a high-quality educational program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Support children's learning, development, wellbeing and school readiness

Build respectful, responsive and meaningful relationships with children and families

About you

Hold an approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification recognised under the Australian early childhood education and care framework, or an equivalent qualification recognised for the role

Meet relevant NSW teacher registration/accreditation requirements, where applicable

Hold a valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance or be eligible to obtain one

Provide a satisfactory National Police Check / criminal history check, in accordance with service requirements

Hold or complete mandatory child safety training/certification required under current early childhood education and care requirements

Hold a current Child Protection Certificate, with the certificate/refresher updated annually as required by the service

Have a sound understanding of the EYLF, NQS and National Quality Framework (NQF)

Demonstrate strong communication, leadership and teamwork skills

Demonstrate a genuine commitment to children's safety, wellbeing, learning and development

Be willing to comply with all service policies, procedures and child protection requirements
