Job summary

Explorers Frankston North is seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to lead a 3 year-old Kindergarten program with a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach. You will foster curiosity, growth and discovery while creating a warm, safe learning environment.

You will build meaningful connections with children, families and the wider community, mentor fellow educators and uphold child safety as you deliver high-quality early learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
• Full or provisional VIT registration (mandatory).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Early Childhood Kindergarten Teacher position.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Reggio Emilia-inspired Kindergarten program.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and the community.
• Mentor Educators to deliver high-quality early learning experiences.
• Uphold child safety and support positive learning outcomes.

Bring Your Passion & Expertise

To be successful in this role, you will hold:

• A Bachelor’s or Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Full or provisional VIT registration (mandatory)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Early Childhood Kindergarten Teacher position
• A genuine passion for children, their development and child safety
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and Reggio Emilia approach
• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training (Foundations of Child Safety Training)
• Australian working rights and a valid Working with Children Check
