Job summary

Honour Early Learning in Queensland is opening a brand-new, purpose-built childcare center in Munruben and invites an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join the launch team. You will shape the curriculum and culture, and help bring the Honour ELC ethos to Brisbane's north side.

Ideal candidates hold a ACECQA approved degree, current first aid, and blue card, with a passion for nurturing young minds and strong teamwork. Competitive salary and professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education (ACECQA approved).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates.
• Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
• Strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to nurturing a love of learning in children.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate curriculum and learning experiences for children.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Observe and document children's progress, ensuring individualised learning plans are in place.
• Collaborate with colleagues to continually improve the quality of our educational programs.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
