Job summary

Grow Early Education Hervey Bay is seeking an energetic Early Childhood Teacher to lead the Kindy room, engaging with children, families, educators and the local community.

You will manage daily classroom operations, mentor your team, and develop a Transition to School program while tailoring activities to each child’s needs. A Bachelor of Early Childhood and current certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Early Childhood or ACECQA-approved qualification as required.
• Current blue card and approved first aid, anaphylaxis, and asthma certifications.
• Strong understanding of EYLF and NQF.
• Ability to build strong relationships with children and families.

• Lead a classroom with enthusiasm, engaging effectively with children, families, educators, and the community.
• Manage day-to-day classroom operations and maintain flexible routines.
• Mentor and lead your classroom team, fostering collaboration, reflection, and respect.
• Develop and implement a Transition to School Program.
• Tailor educational programs to meet the individual needs of our children.
• Build strong relationships and partnerships with children, families, and the community.
