Qualifications

• Diploma/Cert III/ECT or trainee status in early childhood education.
• Current first aid and CPR certificates.
• Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• Knowledge of EYLF & NQS and daily practice application.
• Ability to plan programs and write observations and follow-ups.

Responsibilities

• Foster engaging relationships with children, families and staff.
• Plan developmentally appropriate programs and document observations.
• Support safe, nurturing learning environments.
• Maintain flexible, reliable attendance within 7am–6pm.
• Collaborate with team to implement strategies and share ideas.

What do we expect from you?

• You are able to have fun, while maintaining relationships with other educators, children, families and management.

• You are eager to learn and have a strong work ethic

• You are flexible and reliable with hours between 7am - 6pm

• You are respectful and able to work collaboratively amongst the team

• You have proven ability to create programs and write observations and follow-ups on children's development

• You hold a current first aid and CPR certificates

• You hold a valid WWCC

• You are nurturing toward the children and create a safe environment

• Comprehensive knowledge of mandatory reporting obligations, child safe practices and the ability to recognise, respond and report concerns in line with legislative requirements.

• You have sound knowledge and understanding of the EYLF & NQS and the ability to apply these in daily practice
