Responsibilities

• Serve drinks and food at the bar with a warm, professional manner

• Check IDs to ensure compliance with alcohol and gaming age restrictions

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join the Earlwood Hotel team as a Gaming & Bar Attendant. This is a casual position based in Earlwood NSW 2206, offering flexible working arrangements to suit your schedule. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our gaming and bar operations, delivering exceptional service to our patrons whilst maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and gaming compliance. You will play a vital part in creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps our customers returning and contributes directly to the success of our venue.

What you'll be doing

Serving drinks and food to patrons at the bar with efficiency and a warm, professional manner

Operating gaming machines and supporting patrons with gaming enquiries in accordance with all relevant gaming regulations

Maintaining a clean, safe and well-stocked bar and gaming area at all times

Processing transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handling cash responsibly

Checking identification to ensure compliance with age restrictions for alcohol and gaming

Monitoring patron behaviour and reporting any concerns to management in accordance with responsible service policies

Building positive relationships with regular customers and providing personalised service

What we're looking for

Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification

Current Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) certification

Current Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (ARCG) certification

Previous Gaming & Bar attendant experience is highly desirable

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently

Excellent attention to detail, particularly when handling cash and complying with regulations

A friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for customer service

Reliability and flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
