Holy Spirit Catholic Primary School Carnes Hill is seeking an EAL/D Teacher to inspire students through engaging, inclusive lessons within a Catholic environment. You will develop a rigorous K-6 curriculum and support diverse learners, while applying evidence-based EAL/D practices to enhance participation and achievement.

• Experience in planning and delivering K-6 curriculum with effective pedagogy.
• Strong classroom management and focus on student wellbeing.

• Ability to analyse data to inform teaching and learning improvements.
• Must hold a tertiary Education qualification and be or willing to become NESA accredited.

About Our School

Holy Spirit Catholic Primary School, Carnes Hill is a Kindergarten - Year 6 school of approximately 665 students that was established in 2002. About You

As an EAL/D Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:

• expertise in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
• strong classroom management and student well-being focus
• ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
• an ability to identify EAL/D students' needs and plan for appropriate student support K-6
• a well articulated understanding and application of student-centred, quality EAL/D pedagogical practices that are grounded in current evidence-based research.
• expertise in applying expert knowledge of the diverse needs of students of EAL/D to support their full participation in learning.
• an ability to use a range of strategies and analyse data to inform student learning
• a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
• Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
