Job summary

SCEE Electrical Pty seeks an experienced E&I Technician for a long-term assignment in the Surat Basin, QLD. You will perform day-to-day maintenance on gas facilities, including well pads and power stations, with a focus on electrical and instrumentation tasks.

The role requires QLD Electrical Licence, appropriate certificates, and a proactive approach to safety and maintenance. Rostered 12-hour shifts with DIDO from Brisbane; immediate start with ~12 months work; training offered for mandatory

Qualifications

• QLD Electrical License is required.
• Cert III in Electrical is required; Cert IV in Electrical Instrumentation is preferred.
• EEHA Certification is required or within 3 years.
• CPR/LVR Certification within 1 year.
• Construction White Card is required.
• Gas Test Atmosphere within 3 years.
• ISI (preferred).
• HV Switching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day maintenance in Surat Basin gas fields, including well pads, power stations and gas processing facilities.
• Completing scheduled maintenance, preventative maintenance and EEHA inspections.
• Working on minor projects and other duties as directed.

Full Job Description

SCEE is currently offering a long term opportunity for an "Experienced E & I Technician" to join our team in Surat Basin, QLD. The works will range from project work, operations and maintenance across a range of E&I gas activities.

• Base rates+ penalties + Tool + other allowances
• All overtime at double-time
• 2:2 Roster- 12 hours working standard
• DIDO from Brisbane - All travel hours paid
• Start ASAP - approx. 12 months work
• Training provided, if required, for any mandatory certifications

Your role will include

• Day to day Maintenance in the Surat Basin gas fields, working on well pads, Power Stations and Gas Processing Facilities
• Completing scheduled maintenance, Preventative maintenance, EEHA inspections
• Working on minor projects and anything else as directed

Key requirements for this project are:

• Previous experience with Arrow / previous experience in the Gas industry (preferred)
• QLD Electrical License
• Cert III; Cert IV in Electrical Instrumentation (preferred)
• EEHA Certification (within 3 years)
• Hold a Valid QLD Drivers Licence
• CPR LVR Certificate (within 1 year)
• Construction White Card
• Gas Test Atmosphere (within 3 years)
• Industry Safety Induction - ISI (preferred)
• HV Switching (preferred)
