Job summary

SCEE is currently offering a long term opportunity for an Experienced E & I Technician to join our team in Surat Basin, QLD. The role involves maintenance across E&I gas activities in gas fields and processing facilities.

You will perform day-to-day maintenance, planned preventive tasks, EEHA inspections and assist with minor projects. The role includes travel from Brisbane, 12-hour shifts on a 2:2 roster, and allowances with overtime paid at double-rate.

Qualifications

• QLD Electrical License is required.
• Cert III or Cert IV in Electrical Instrumentation preferred.
• EEHA certification within 3 years.
• Gas Test Atmosphere within 3 years.
• CPR/LVR within 1 year.
• Construction White Card held.
• Valid Queensland Driver's Licence.
• ISI preferred; HV Switching preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance in Surat Basin gas fields, including well pads, power stations and gas processing facilities.
• Complete scheduled and preventative maintenance, EEHA inspections.
• Contribute to minor projects and other duties as directed.

SCEE is currently offering a long term to opportunity for an “Experienced E & I Technician to join our team in Surat Basin, QLD. The works will range from project work, operations and maintenance across a range of E&I gas activities.

What we can offer you

• Base rates+ penalties + Tool + other allowances
• All overtime at double-time
• 2:2 Roster- 12 hours working standard
• DIDO from Brisbane – All travel hours paid
• Start ASAP – approx. 12 months work
• Training provided, if required, for any mandatory certifications

Your role will include

• Day to day Maintenance in the Surat Basin gas fields, working on well pads, Power Stations and Gas Processing Facilities
• Completing scheduled maintenance, Preventative maintenance, EEHA inspections
• Working on minor projects and anything else as directed

Key requirements for this project are

• Previous experience with Arrow / previous experience in the Gas industry (preferred)
• QLD Electrical License
• Cert III; Cert IV in Electrical Instrumentation (preferred)
• EEHA Certification (within 3 years)
• Hold a Valid QLD Drivers Licence
• CPR LVR Certificate (within 1 year)
• Construction White Card
• Gas Test Atmosphere (within 3 years)
• Industry Safety Induction - ISI (preferred)
• HV Switching (preferred)
