Job summary

Blackwater Energy Solutions is mobilising E&I Technicians for a major oil and gas project in Brisbane. The role offers an hourly rate of $72–$76 plus penalties, with 50 hours per week and a DIDO arrangement. It is a 6+ month opportunity for the right candidate, with safety and compliance as priorities.

Ideal applicants hold relevant electrical instrumentation licences and certifications listed, including EEHA and CPR/First Aid, and have previous industrial or oil & gas experience.

Qualifications

• QLD Electrician's Licence (Preferred)
• Certificate III in Electrical - Instrumentation (Preferred)
• Certificate IV in Electrical - Instrumentation
• Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas - Electrical (EEHA)
• Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel
• HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - current within 12 months
• HLTAID011 Provide First Aid - current within 36 months
• Enter and Work in a Confined Space
• HRWL-WP High Risk Work Licence - WP (Work Platform)
• Current C-Class Driver's Licence
• Previous industrial or oil & gas experience
• Ability to provide at least two contactable work-related references

$72 - $76 per hour plus penalties depending on tickets and experience, plus superannuation

50 hours a week Monday to Friday with the possibility of Saturday work.
