Job summary

Vertali Apac Pty is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Senior Technical Consultant/Developer to design and deliver custom CE solutions on the Dynamics 365 platform in Melbourne.

This is a 6-month assignment with potential extensions, based in the Western Suburbs with hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 CE.
• Strong knowledge of the Dynamics 365 platform and the broader Microsoft Power Platform.
• Hands-on Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) and Power Automate.
• Mandatory experience designing and delivering Power Pages portals.
• Proven Dataverse configuration, security and access controls.
• Experience delivering Dynamics 365 Field Service solutions.
• Experience with Dual-write - data sync CE and FO.
• Proficient in X , C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
• Ability to design scalable, secure enterprise solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Consulting experience including solution architecture and stakeholder engagement.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently on complex initiatives.

Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) Senior Technical Consultant/Developer who specialises in developing and maintaining custom solutions on the Dynamics 365 platform.

This is initially a 6-month assignment, with the possibility of at least one 6-month extension and will be based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne, with hybrid working possible.

Requirements

• At least Australian Permanent Residence working rights,


• At least 7+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE).

Background

Our client has implemented the Dynamics 365 platform and supported by the broader Microsoft Power Platform.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the APAC Microsoft Applications team and help continue to unlock the benefits of the Dynamics 365 technology suite, with a particular focus on D365 CE and the integration between it and Finance & Operations.

Essential skills required

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 CE.


• A strong understanding of the Dynamics 365 platform and the broader Microsoft Power Platform.


• Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) and Power Automate.


• Mandatory experience designing and delivering Power Pages portals.


• Proven experience configuring Dataverse, including security and access controls.


• Demonstrated experience delivering solutions using Dynamics 365 Field Service.


• Hands-on experience with Dual-write - configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting data synchronisation between CE and Finance & Operations.


• Experience with programming languages such as X , C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.


• Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.


• Demonstrated ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise solutions.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


• Consulting experience, including solution architecture, technical design, and stakeholder engagement across technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors or partners.


• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently on complex initiatives.


• Able to manage multiple priorities within a large, enterprise environment.

Highly desirable skills

• Azure integration experience, including Azure Functions and Application Insights.


• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions.


• Familiarity with enterprise governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
