Job summary

Dynamo Recruitment is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 CE Functional Consultant for a 6-month contract available Australia-wide. You will translate business requirements into effective CE solutions, configure modules across Sales, Customer Service, Field Service and Marketing, and lead workshops with client stakeholders.

You will collaborate with technical consultants on integrations and extensions, support UAT and go-live, and provide clear documentation and best-practice guidance throughout

Qualifications

• Experience translating business requirements into functional D365 CE solutions.
• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent client-facing communication and ability to lead workshops.
• Hands-on configuration of D365 CE modules (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Marketing).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
• Experience delivering end-to-end D365 CE implementations.

Are you an experienced Dynamics 365 CE Functional Consultant looking for your next contract opportunity?

Our client, an established Microsoft Partner specialising in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, is looking for a capable Functional Consultant to join their delivery team on an initial 6-month contract.

This opportunity is open to candidates across Australia and will suit someone who enjoys working closely with clients, translating business requirements into practical solutions, and taking an active role across the full implementation lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing

• Gather, analyse and translate business requirements into effective Dynamics 365 CE solutions
• Configure and customise D365 CE across Sales, Customer Service, Field Service and Marketing
• Lead and support client workshops, discovery sessions, fit-gap analysis and solution design
• Work closely with technical consultants on customisations, integrations and Power Platform extensions
• Support UAT, cutover, go-live and post-implementation activities
• Produce clear functional specifications, process documentation and solution designs
• Advise stakeholders on Dynamics 365 and Power Platform best practices
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and manage requirements throughout delivery

Dynamics 365 CE Functional Consultant

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience as a Dynamics 365 CE Functional Consultant
• Proven experience configuring D365 CE modules such as Sales, Customer Service, Field Service and/or Marketing
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse
• Experience delivering end-to-end Dynamics 365 implementations, rather than purely BAU/support environments
• Strong requirements gathering, workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to confidently translate business needs into functional solution designs
• Excellent communication skills and a client-facing approach
• Microsoft certifications such as PL-200, MB-210 or MB-230 are highly regarded, but not essential
