Job summary

Mathiou Services is seeking a Junior Scheduler / Maintenance Coordinator to join our Burleigh head office. You will coordinate scheduled works, liaise with trades and subcontractors, and build strong relationships with clients in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage high volumes of work, update the scheduling database, and support the scheduling team with proactive problem-solving. A drivers license and willingness to obtain a Blue Card are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a similar work coordination role.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage high volumes of work and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Shows initiative and ownership of issues.
• High attention to detail and composure under pressure.
• Experience with MS Office.
• Team player who can also work autonomously.
• Experience in construction or maintenance is advantageous.
• Current driver’s license.
• Willingness to undergo a Police Check and obtain a Blue Card.

Responsibilities

• Answering calls – first point of contact for scheduling.
• Liaising with clients to understand service requirements and update scheduling contacts.
• Maintaining the scheduling database and ensuring scheduled services are undertaken.
• Liaising with management to provide proactive scheduling solutions.
• Managing updates of all scheduled works and future tasks.
• Gathering information to ensure the scheduling team has all details.
