Job summary

Core Talent is seeking expressions of interest from Financial Accountants for permanent, temporary, and contract opportunities across Brisbane and South East Queensland. The role encompasses month-end and year-end reporting, financial statement prep, GL reconciliations, and support for audits.

Candidates may be CA/CPA qualified or working towards their designation, with strong attention to detail and clear communication with finance and operational teams.

Qualifications

• Month-end and year-end reporting experience.
• Preparation of financial statements and reports.
• General ledger reconciliations and balance sheet accuracy.
• Journal entries, accruals, prepayments and fixed assets management.
• GST, BAS, FBT and statutory reporting.
• Assist external audits and strengthen financial controls.
• Drive process improvements and system enhancements in finance.
• Ability to communicate with finance and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate financial reporting and statement preparation.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and GL oversight.
• Assist with internal controls and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with operations and finance across sites.
