Job summary

Core Talent is seeking expressions of interest from Financial Accountants for permanent, temporary and contract positions across Brisbane and South East Queensland. Roles cover month-end, year-end reporting, financial statements, GL reconciliations and statutory reporting.

Ideal candidates may be CA/CPA qualified or working toward it, with strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with finance and operational teams.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualification or progress toward qualification preferred.
• Experience with month-end and year-end reporting required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate with finance and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end reporting processes.
• Prepare financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage general ledger activities, journals, accruals and fixed assets.
• Assist with BAS, GST, FBT and statutory reporting.
• Support external audits and reinforce financial controls.
• Identify process improvements and assist with finance system upgrades.
