Job summary

Ruttley Services is seeking an experienced Dispatch & Scheduling Coordinator to keep our field operations flowing smoothly in a fast-paced environment. You will organize daily schedules for plumbers and electricians, dispatch teams, and communicate with customers to manage expectations and ensure timely service.

The role requires calm problem-solving, strong attention to detail and solid CRM/scheduling software experience.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in dispatch, scheduling or a similar operations role.
• Ability to stay composed and solutions-focused during busy periods.
• Strong communication with customers and tradespeople.
• Excellent organisational and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily schedules for plumbers and electricians.
• Dispatch technicians efficiently across the service area.
• Monitor job progress and adjust schedules in real time.
• Respond calmly to emergencies, delays or last-minute changes.
• Communicate clearly with technicians and customers.
• Manage inbound calls and prioritise urgent work.
• Follow up bookings, updates and completions.
• Maintain accurate job information in the CRM.
