Job summary

Hymix on the Gold Coast is seeking a Concrete Allocator / Scheduler to coordinate daily deliveries and balance priorities across customers, drivers, plants and operations. You will respond to weather changes, traffic delays and last-minute requests, ensuring reliable service.

With rotating shifts and a fast-paced environment, you’ll need to stay calm, communicate effectively, and drive safe, efficient operations while contributing to ongoing improvements and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, allocation, logistics, transport, operations, or customer service.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to remain calm, focused, and decisive in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and allocating concrete deliveries across our network.
• Managing fleet utilisation and delivery efficiency.
• Monitoring daily operations and adjusting schedules in real time.
• Supporting customers with orders, enquiries, and changes.
• Communicating with drivers, batch plants, sales teams, and operational stakeholders.
• Maintaining accurate system information and delivery records.
• Identifying issues early and implementing practical solutions.
• Supporting safe and efficient operations across the business.
