Job summary

Trafalgar Primary School in regional Victoria is seeking Range 2 classroom teachers to support school improvement aligned with our strategic plan and state priorities. You will contribute to building staff knowledge about effective teaching and assessment practices to drive student learning growth.

You will model exemplary practice, mentor colleagues, and provide expert advice on content, processes and interventions that shape professional learning across the school.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum and high-quality instruction.
• Ability to respond to student learning needs and adjust teaching for diverse learners.
• Strong planning, assessment and feedback practices to monitor progress.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertake other classroom teaching and organisational duties as required.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Supervise and mentor student teachers.
