Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience using data to inform teaching and provide feedback to students/parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with students, parents and staff.
• Commitment to professional learning and reflecting on practice to improve teaching quality.
• Ability to collaborate with the school community to support student learning and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or program.
• Undertake other classroom teaching and organisational duties as directed by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties as required.
